Minerals, freezes and foundation entries all matter to a repipe in Impact.
Mineral-bearing water leaves scale inside supply piping and puts added wear on fittings, valves and equipment that uses water. When restrictions build or leaks begin appearing in more than one place, the issue is no longer limited to the accessible spot that first drew attention. Intermittent freezing adds another source of stress for pipe in exposed locations, especially where a weakened run already has a history of trouble.
A repipe in Impact also needs to account for the points where water lines pass through a slab or foundation. Ground movement works at those transitions even after interior piping has been replaced, so the connection between new runs and the existing entry points deserves attention. We look at the pipe material, the number and pattern of leaks, pressure throughout the system, and the available access through the structure before deciding whether broad replacement makes more sense than another repair.
Replacing supply lines is a system-level job. The routing of new pipe, shutoffs and fixture connections all affect how dependable the remaining plumbing will be. A plan built around the whole system addresses more than the leak or restriction that started the conversation.
